In artistic matters "recycling" constitutes a permanent dynamic, a constant reality inherent in work itself : tirelessly resume, Watch everything from a new angle, Recover certain elements of previous work, finished or sketched, To create a new work. Artistic recycling is the process that incorporates the processing of not selected elements, unfinished in the process of creating previous works, or exogenous to the artist's research. Artistic recycling is the process that incorporates the processing of not selected elements, unfinished in the process of creating previous works, or exogenous to the artist's research. This particular ability of the gaze to discern the interest of the element, a priori “non-artistic”, makes possible its reintroduction into the development of new images. And this faculty of perception – regardless of any formal context- intrinsic plastic possibilities of a given element, constitutes the very basis of the artistic gaze. A look that transcends the ordinary, I inform you, the rejected, and aims to make perceptible, beyond appearances, beauty, the balance and energy which these elements carry.

L’exposition présente les estampes réalisées par cinquante-neuf artistes de l’association Graver Maintenant en France, from the Edit group & Co et du CIAE (Art and Environment Research Center) from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain.

Débuté en 2019, ce projet a comme objectif la mise en place d’un échange et d’une collaboration entre ces entités dédiées à la création, la recherche et la diffusion d’oeuvres graphiques. Through the print, by creating a dialogue on this theme between the work of Spanish and French artists, it is both the links and the cultural peculiarities between these two countries that are highlighted.
We want to promote graphic elements that despite their frequent use we consider to be unrecognized. The daily flows of communication that solicit us more or less consciously, are vectors of messages of different nature. Thus visual communication is constituted by graphic representations such as alphabets and typographical signs.. Alphabets use graphic signs to represent the letters that make up language. Non-alphabetic graphic signs are an international language and most are understood independently of the language of each country.. here are some examples : asterisk (*), hashtag (#), percentage (%), copyright (©), esperluette (&) …
